The ‘Corniche d'Or’
The Esterel Massif is a spectacular rocky mountain with red colours contrasting with the blue sea and sky. The summit culminates 452 metres above the sea. The coastal path called "Corniche d'Or", bends along the Mediterranean Sea through exceptional landscapes of beaches and unspoiled creeks. Offshore, the île d’Or draws a 19th century tower that inspired Hergé for the cover of Tintin and the Black Island.
